The project consisted of interior and exterior renovations to a 9,500 SF space at the Rancho Bernardo Country Club. The exterior scope included the extension of a wooden deck, as well as CMU walls, stairs, backfill and new deck. The scope also included new handrails, lath and stucco, sheet metal, waterproofing, and exterior tile work. The deck addition extended over the basement cart storage access drive and connected two exterior patio areas. Indoor improvements included new door hardware, replacement of the existing single-pane windows with new insulated low E-glazed windows and Pella door entry system, and the minor reconfiguration of interior non-bearing walls, openings, and ceiling/soffits. The existing bar was relocated with new bar equipment. The existing kitchen and kitchen storage areas were also remodeled. The overall scope included the upgrade of existing mechanical and plumbing systems effected by the bar relocation and kitchen upgrade. Electrical work included the change out of the existing incandescent light fixtures for energy efficient LED light fixtures and controls throughout. Upgrades to the existing restrooms included partition reconfiguration to comply with accessibility standards, new tile flooring and walls, new cabinets, and mirrors and accessories. New paint, wallpaper and various owner-supplied, contractor-installed decorative items were provided throughout.
