UCSD – Eckart Building 2nd Floor Renovation

This project entailed the renovation of interior and exterior space on the second floor of the Eckart Building on the Scripps Institute of Oceanography campus. The renovation provided new offices, conference rooms, and office support spaces. New work included non-structural walls, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, new casework, and architectural finishes. As a significant value engineering effort and to maintain the aesthetic beauty of the original building, the project team worked closely with a custom wood refinishing company and restored the exterior wood storefront to its natural beauty.
